This is our Big John Fire Pit, which is named after my father, because of its large, rugged, rough around the edges style. We loved building things together and this fire pit is as good as it gets, The Big John fire pit is built to stand the test of time. It is a heavy-duty fire pit hand made out of 1/4-inch carbon Steel. Chain handles are welded to the fire pit making it easier to move to different locations. The large fire bowl cradles on a base allowing the fire pit to tilt for directional heating. This fire pit tilted can be intimate enough for two people but also ready to entertain 30 of your closest friends and family. Don't forget the Snuffer Lid!!! When the party is over simply placing the lid on top of the fire pit and allowing it to snuff out the fire. The snuffer lid will also keep the majority of moisture out of your fire pit.

Respect the Rust!! Once your fire pit is exposed to the elements it will form a layer of oxidation. This layer protects and seals the metal. Overtime the oxidation process will stop and the fire pit will darken leaving you with a beautiful rustic patina.
